The M056 is a manual textile laboratory instrument designed for fabric thermal resistance and tog-related testing. Reported outputs include thermal resistance, clo value, and thermal conductivity. Its thermal resistance test range is 0–2.0 m²-K/W, with stated repeatability of ±3.5% and resolution of 0.00001 m²-K/W.
The instrument uses a 200 × 200 mm test plate and accommodates a stated sample area of 350 × 350 mm. Test temperature is adjustable from room temperature +5°C to 50°C, with a temperature display resolution of 0.01°C. Preheat and test-time settings are each adjustable from 0 to 999999 seconds.
The system supports 30 batches with 20 tests per batch. A large color touch screen and metal control buttons support instrument operation. The listed configuration also includes online software with computer-based printing and single-curve output.
