Glass Blood Collection Tube Plain (no addtive) Tube 5-7ml The disposable vacuum blood collection tube is composed of a test tube, rubber stopper, safety cap, additives (anticoagulant or clot activator), optional separator gel, and a label. A vacuum is pre-set inside the tube to facilitate blood collection.
The tube is made of either borosilicate glass or PET (polyethylene terephthalate) plastic. The rubber stopper is made of butyl rubber, the safety cap is made of polyethylene (PE), and the label is made of self-adhesive paper or plastic. The collection tube is sterilized by irradiation and is supplied sterile.
Plain (no addtive) Tube A dry, additive-free tube molded from medical-grade PET or borosilicate glass, fitted with a butyl-rubber stopper and a polyethylene safety cap.
The interior is washed and dried to eliminate any residues that could alter analyte levels;no clot activator, anticoagulant, gel, or preservative is present. A pre-evacuated vacuum ensures smooth, needle-free blood flow and permits precise fill volume.
After collection, the sample naturally clots in 30-60 min;serum is then separated for chemistry, serology, immunology, or blood-banking tests. Sterilized by gamma irradiation, single-use only, shelf-life 1 year (PET) or 2 years (glass) when stored dry at 4-30 °C. ITEM NO.
